Rene, N6NRN added this great antenna mast that makes it easier to use. The end handle works for pointing, but is tiring to hold after a while. Now it's really easy to hold the antenna up and rotate around to see which direction the noise is coming from.
The attachment is two pieces of wood glued and nailed to the mast. The sides were cut so it's a snug fit, with a bolt that just fits over the square boom. A wing nut makes it easy to tighten and grip the boom.
